Why does it take so long for me to get my Walmart orders processed?

Walmart orders remain stuck in the “processing” phase due to stock issues and unreceived shipments. Because of this, Walmart orders can take longer than usual to process as the Walmart fulfillment centers are unable to ship the order unstill the stock arrives.

Why is my Walmart order showing processing?

It could be because the item is currently considered a “backorder”.

Walmart often waits for the new inventory of the ordered product to arrive and then sends the item when the stock arrives, rather than canceling the order altogether.

Large e-commerce shops are prone to this problem. In the event of delayed shipping by the supplier, delays can affect the stock and shipping schedules at Walmart.

Walmart How long does it take to process an Order?

Walmart takes between 2-4 hours to process orders once they have been delivered to stores or fulfillment centers. Once the order is processed, it will go to the “shipping” stage.

If the item is not immediately available at the Walmart store or stocking location, a delay of up to a couple of days may occur.

Some Walmart customers had to wait for 2-10 days before the “processing” stage could be transferred to the “shipping”.

These delays are rare. Walmart Customer Service Representatives will typically reach out if they experience any.

Walmart won’t allow customers to expedite the processing stage.

You have the right to cancel your order, receive a full refund or purchase another product.

You can also call Walmart Customer Service at 1-800-925-6278 to request a store credit or a discount for the inconvenience that it’s causing.
