As of 2022, Target was not purchased by Walmart. Target Corporation now owns it. This corporation was previously called the Dayton-Hudson Corporation up to 2000. It is now known as the Target Corporation, and it operates more than 1900 retail shops in mass sales and discounts across all 50 states.
