Home Depot employees no longer get discounts starting in 2022. They get multiple benefits based on the hours worked, such as paid time off and healthcare.

An associate who works more than 20 hours per work week is eligible for full-time employment benefits. Part time benefits will be available to employees working less than that amount of work weekly.
Home Depot employees can get discounts
Home Depot associates are not eligible for employee discounts. The company, however, offers merit- and award programmes to highly performing employees.
This award can be in the form of a bonus or a raise in pay. You may also have the option to embellish your apron using an award badge that will allow customers to recognise your accomplishments.
Home Depot workers get paid a Commission

What Hardware Stores Offer Employee Discounts
Lowe’s could be an option if the store offers employees discounts as part of their benefits package.
Lowe Associates get a 10% discount for all full-price online and in-store orders.
Lowe’s associate discounts program can also be accessed by employees.
Employees can buy various products, such as cell phones and vacations.
Lowe’s employees only have access to the platform. Associates can also purchase merchandise on behalf friends and relatives. Using the service, employees can save nearly $5,000 each year.
Other than Lowe’s, employee discounts are also available at the following retailers:
Ace Hardware: The initial price is 10%. After that, the wholesale cost will be 10-20%. Different stores may have different benefits.
Menards offers a 10% discount for employees, while some stores will deduct your salary from the discounts.
Walmart: 10% discount on full-price general merchandise, fresh fruit, and vegetables.
