Are you able to send an unopened mattress back to Costco
While many mattresses are returned unpacked by companies, like IKEA or Walmart, you may be able to send an open mattress back to Costco.
Because customers often need to try out the mattress and see if it functions properly for their needs, Costco accepts mattresses being returned without worrying about the original packaging.
Is it possible to return your mattress to Costco for upto 30 days?
Costco has a different policy than other stores, which does not have the same 9-month limit for mattress returns.
Costco has a satisfaction policy for mattresses. This means that you are able to return the mattress within a reasonable time.
But if the mattress was clearly worn and purchased some time back, it might be a cause for concern.
This may mean that the store manager will have to decide whether to accept the mattress returns.
You might also find it more challenging to understand why a memory foam, or shape-conforming, mattress isn’t working well for you. This happens because these mattresses can take longer to get settled.
Costco’s open return policy proves to be especially helpful here. Many customers are able and willing to accept a return up until a month after they purchase.
Is your Mattress Returned eligible for a reimbursement?
Absolutely! Costco’s returns team will expedite your refund.
The store will refund your mattress if you return it in good condition.
Alternativly, your refund can be received in cash or converted to Costco Cash Cards for the same amount as is available to members and non-members.
Online returns of mattresses may require additional processing before a refund can be issued.
The Costco driver will take the mattress home to pick it up and return it to you at the depot.
In general, however, refunds must be processed within 30 days from the date of request.
Do you have the right to return your mattress to Costco online?
Costco offers an easy way to return your mattress. To return or exchange a mattress purchased from Costco.com, you can simply go online and request it.
Simply log in to Costco.com. Select the Orders & Returns portal. Next, follow the prompts. Schedule a pickup near your house.
Costco will send an email to provide further instructions for larger or more difficult orders. All shipping and handling fees will be refunded. So returning an item won’t incur any additional cost.
Are you able to return your mattress without receipt to Costco?
You can return all products, except mattresses, to Costco without the original receipt. To process your refund, the returns department will require your member number.
You also don’t need the original packaging to return your mattress to Costco, although all parts and included accessories do need to be present.
Are You able to have your mattress returned by someone other than Costco?
You cannot have other members return your mattress unless they are household members.
Similar to other Costco returns. The member who purchased the mattress originally must return it.
If the mattress was given to the member as a gift, there is an exception for returns.
The recipient may return the mattress to the buyer as a gift, but the number of the membership card will be required.
Costco cash cards are used as the refund.
