Walmart no longer offers senior discounts, coupon codes, senior citizen discount day or other special deals to those over 50. Walmart offers seniors the opportunity to save by using rollbacks and price match, coupons, clearance products, and other special deals.

Walmart has stopped accepting AARP discounts on grocery products or other merchandise as of 2022.

Safeway allows senior citizens to apply to a savings account to qualify for discounts in-store.
Harris Teeter, which offers a 5% discount on purchases every Thursday.
Do Seniors 55+ get Discounts at Stores?
Senior discounts can also apply to those as young as 55 in a large variety of retailers across the United States.

Michaels offers a 10% discount on all purchases made by customers older than 55 every day.

Walmart’s senior shopping hours are available to customers 60 and older. On Tuesdays these hours will be available between 6am and 7am.

The process of obtaining a Senior Discount is straightforward and effective.
The customer can only ask for a coupon at the checkout, or request a seniors discount card at any of their favorite retailers.
From here, the customer merely needs to provide proof of age, and if people around their age can qualify for the discount, or a discount card, then it will be approved.
How Old Can A Customer be Considered Senior?
Walmart does not have any current senior discounts. So it’s difficult for anyone to figure out their exact age in order to take advantage of senior discounts.
It is possible for the senior discount to be granted at different stores and places. These ages range between 50 and 65.
Costco members who are over 65 may also want to be aware of senior discounts.
Walmart does not provide a special discount for senior customers or an exclusive discount day.
